Jaffle Iron

A jaffle iron is a common Australian appliance. You use it to make toasted sandwiches - the sandwich is split into 2 triangles and the edges get sealed together. If you have cheese inside, it gets all melty and gooey but doesn't seep out (so no mess).

I've also used the machine very successfully with waffle batter - regular waffles, belgian waffles, choc chip waffles, mochi waffles. It's a lot easier to clean than a waffle iron.

This machine makes 2 sandwiches at a time or makes about 12-20 jwaffle triangles per batch.

This is a 3 layer compost bin. We've been using it for 2 years. You dump your compostables (fruit + vege peels, egg shells, seeds) in the top and it takes care of itself. Months later, flip it over and open the was-bottom-is-now-top layer and it's dirt! Dump in the garden and flip back over for continued use. In the winter it takes longer to turn. We keep it on the roof.

IKEA couch with 2 fabric sets - one is off-white, one is dull green. They are both complete sets. In the picture below they are mixed together so you can see what's available. It's a 3 cushion couch and extremely comfortable. Many people have slept on it and are surprised just how nice it is to sleep on - it really invites you to nap on it. The seats don't sag, all cushions are still firm. There are 6 big square pillows that come with it. We can throw in a little one and some light blankets as well.

If you don't like the color choices, you can go to IKEA and get your own fabric set. They are easily removed and can be thrown in the wash. The off-white seat covers are slightly stained. The rest are in reasonable used condition

The umbrella fits through the center of the table. Provides protection from rain or sun. Table is square. Surface is smooth, easy to clean and can withstand the elements. Chairs are stackable. Great for a rooftop or porch.

Pictures
Table is big enough to have a four person game of Settlers of Catan - lovely for a summer night time activity. Also good for BBQs on the roof - hold the food, plates, snacks, drinks, etc. Surface can easily be sprayed down with a hose or wiped down quickly with a sponge.

There are 3 chairs stacked on top of each other at the far end of the table. Easy to wipe down - hang large sheets over 2-3 chairs on the roof for quick drying. Good for parties. Chairs are lightweight.

The umbrella has a pulley system to get the umbrella to open. The string can be wrapped around the base to stay open. The peg for the pole is gone but you can easily replace that.


This is the metal base for the umbrella. Heavy so it won't be blown over. Umbrella fits in for standalone feature to provide shade protection.
